What's next, you ask?
Why, Tribal Quest NorthWest, of course!
Sue and I are teaching three workshops in Portland the first week of August, plus performing at the teacher's showcase. We're really excited to come up to P-town again, to meet new folks, hang out with old friends, sweat, shop, and take in the sights!
I've borrowed Paulette's writeup and am posting it below. Hope to see some of you there!!

What is Tribal Quest?
a meeting of the tribes
a place to come to study dance and music
a growing community of musicians, dancers, artists, families
a party
a five day festival full of Tribal bellydance and its fusiondances at their best
Tribal Quest festivals feature masters and innovators of Tribal Bellydance, including Folkloric, Tribal Fusion, even cabaret and other dance forms! Instruments such as drums, mijwiz, zils...
There are several dance and music workshops daily with the master teachers.
There are performances every night, as always with special treats, such as a wonderful kick-off show with Tony Starlight and the Gypsy Starlight Cabaret! Live music this year will consist of Raquy and the Cavemen, Mizna, Krebsic Orkestar, Greywolf, and open jam night with all of you! How about a bit of hulahooping with the WhirlyGirlz. This year there are two showcases highlighting participating dancers and teachers from around the country. Wow…
And shopping!
Oh yeah... shopping! Vendors and costume designers selling their wares. ( register to be in the showcase if you haven’t yet).
Top it off with a blowout performance with our instructors and an afterparty with firedancing with Rockabelly and our wonderful DJ Layla.
Some workshops are already sold out, so don't wait...
Keep on reading about the events and workshops!
